In our second podcast we analyze the Greek syntax of First Corinthians 15:2.
First Corinthians 15:1-2 (NA 27)
There is an element of mystery or intrigue about this verse since the majority of English translations generally agree on the wrong translation and therefore most people are unaware of the largely hidden disagreement, which, however is known by some Koine grammarians. We also look at historical translations including the Vulgate, Luther, Wycliffe and contemporary translations.
The fact that there are some unfamiliar grammatical complexities behind the controversy shows the breadth of our project, the Greek New Testament - Grammatical Commentary.
